Community
Gnosall Globetrotters is built on a foundation of friendship, inclusivity and support. As part of our ethos, we want to give back to the community. Here are some of the things we were up to last year.
Community Family Fun Day
The Gnosall Globetrotters took part in the Gnosall Village Family fun day on the 12th July 2025 organised by The Gnosall Best kept village team & The Gnosall family sports and social club. What a blast! There were 3 local groups who had an activity pitch. Along with businesses and charity groups. GG organised the old school sports day activities. The team had far to much fun on the activities themselves but they did let the kids go on them too. Emma.P and Maria.K especially loved the space hoppers, they took them down memory lane. Mike.W and Sarah.S took on the challenge of the Royal British legion Assault course racing against the clock. It was a joy to see everyone giggling and having fun. This was a community event, we really enjoyed giving back to the village of Gnosall.
Parkrun Takeover
Just like our very own club, Parkrun relies on volunteers to survive. Every week, around 25 lovely people volunteer their time to marshal the course, brief the first time runners, time keep, hand out finisher tokens, scan barcodes and much more. In 2025, the Gnosall Globetrotters supported a few Parkrun takeovers at the Isabel trail parkrun in Stafford, and filled every volunteer position.
Keep an eye on this page or follow us on Facebook for our next Park Run take over at Stafford.

Our 2026 Donations evening will be held at the Grosvenor centre on the 29th Oct, starting at 7pm. Please come and share this special evening with us.
Foodbank
We are proud to work alongside St Lawrence Church each year for this event. December 2025 was our 3rd Annual food bank run. What do we do – we advertise the event and build up a list of kind residents who are willing to donate food and toiletries. We have two options available:
1. We collect on the night whilst running
2. Our event organiser arranges collection prior and there is a large collection on the night from her address by the running team.
In 2025 we had 15 collections for the evening and a huge pick up from the event organisers house, made up from the many donations prior, we then run, jog or walk (as it gets heavy) to the donation point to drop off. Each year we have had to make two drop offs at St Lawrence and that is with a team of 8 plus, where we have been warmly welcomed and refreshed by the vicarage team with mulled wine and mince pies. We are truly grateful for the villages support each year. Did you know there is a House of Bread donation point here in Gnosall. There is a plastic storage box outside of the Vicarage on Glebe Lane all year round for donations. It really is a joy to be able to give back to the community and help families struggling at such a festive time of year.
